Concept art for a future VR tabletop RPG game. I tried to keep everything within current-gen standalone headset limitations, hence low-poly structures, baked-in lighting and shadows, almost no VFX, simplified character skin shaders, and very basic hair. I used a few items bought from 3rd party stores, but none in their original state. I generated 4 textures with AI: the two oil paintings around the throne, the fresco above the table, and the carpet's pattern.
These are real-time screenshots from Unreal with very little post work in Photoshop.
The 3 characters represent different RPG genres: fantasy, contemporary, and sci-fi.
